Feb. 17th, 2010 10:03 amDoes anyone else think it's kind of weird that Green Day is still wildly popular with "the kids"? I remember listening to Green Day in the van on the way to volleyball games when I was 15. 15 years later, it doesn't seem like Billie Joe's birthday should be a trending topic on Flickr - or that they should be playing a big NYE bash.
But then maybe I shouldn't be questioning this, considering that my most heavily listened album from the last 12 months was released the year I was born - except that there's no chance that Green Day and Talking Heads are on the same level in this or any other world.
