10. Reduce magazine subscriptions to 5 or fewer.
11. For the third year running - complete my Bond resolution!

Also, I forgot to add:
12. Ride my bike more.
13. Write more.

As we start thinking and talking about this whole marriage business, I'm going to need a place to talk about what I'm thinking - not just about the wedding, whatever that'll look like, but also about the marriage/wedding issues that I still need to work through from my previous go at it. So, that's a warning, though I'll probably heavily filter most of it.

Yesterday was great. We had lots of friendos over for waffles and board games, which was fun and relaxing and such a dramatic change from last year, when we spent the day mourning the loss of little Sid with no friends to keep us warm and comforted. Have I mentioned we're settled here? Because we are, and it's great, and I'm so thankful for friendos like Sipes and [livejournal.com profile] caffree and [livejournal.com profile] dilicous for helping make that happen.
1. Read two books for pleasure each month.

6. Finish Couch to 5K and run a 5K.
7. Continue weight training and do an unassisted pull up.
8. Finish my CAS.
9. Get published.
10. Find a church.
11. Reconsider therapy and/or medication.
12. Beat SB at Zooloretto or Alhambra.
13. Finish 2007’s Bond-watching resolution.
14. Bring a new friend into our family.
They say that you should always have three months' worth of living expenses in a savings account, y'know, just in case.  I don't know who "they" are, but "they" sound suspiciously like my father.  Regardless of the advice's unknown provenance, this is something I really want to do.  I've never been very financially responsible - I live within my means, but just - and I don't have any savings other than "the fund" which paid for my college education and a sad little savings account that is depleted just as quickly as it is stocked.  I would really like to have three months' worth of living expenses - hell, even just three months' rent - in savings by the end of the year.  This would mean a sizable shift in my spending habits, but it's something I know I need to do.  Fingers crossed on this one - it sure as hell won't be easy.
