Resolutions
Jan. 2nd, 2009 09:33 am1. Build up an emergency fund to cover my half of 3 months’ worth of the household budget (approx $4500).
2. Pay off laptop loan to SB.
3. Finish my CAS.
4. Get published (something, anything).
5. Start eating beef again. (after almost 13 years!)
6. Run a 10K (or two 5Ks).
7. Do an unassisted pull-up.
8. Make one craft project per month.
9. Take a trip with SB.
10. Reduce magazine subscriptions to 5 or fewer.
11. For the third year running - complete my Bond resolution!
Also, I forgot to add:
12. Ride my bike more.
13. Write more.
As we start thinking and talking about this whole marriage business, I'm going to need a place to talk about what I'm thinking - not just about the wedding, whatever that'll look like, but also about the marriage/wedding issues that I still need to work through from my previous go at it. So, that's a warning, though I'll probably heavily filter most of it.
Yesterday was great. We had lots of friendos over for waffles and board games, which was fun and relaxing and such a dramatic change from last year, when we spent the day mourning the loss of little Sid with no friends to keep us warm and comforted. Have I mentioned we're settled here? Because we are, and it's great, and I'm so thankful for friendos like Sipes and
caffree and
dilicous for helping make that happen.
