Valentine's Day
Feb. 14th, 2009 02:52 pmPlease note that four years ago, I spent Valentine's Day on a hot date with Jack Bauer, doing my laundry. I find it difficult to imagine a better possible way to spend Valentine's Day, except maybe that one year when Shawn and I got pizza and watched Law & Order.
Jackie and I were talking earlier in the week about Valentine's Day, and how it's a stupid holiday but we both end up finding ourselves a little disappointed when nothing happens, even if we don't especially want anything to happen. Today, however, I am going to be thankful that I only have to be on the reference desk 6 hours. Reference Desk, you're the worst Valentine ever.
