Art Building West, just a few blocks (thankfully downhill) from where my aunt, uncle, and cousins live
I remember the flood of 1993, which looked an awful lot like this:

They've been saying that this is a 500 year flood - and I've been reading that so many people just don't have flood insurance. My friend Sonya's family's going to be alright - they have crop insurance - but many of their neighbors do not. She said that she had been driving around with her dad last week and he pointed to a neighbor's field and said "this is about a million dollars worth of crops lost".
