waiting for the siren's call

My parents are at their timeshare in Carlsbad this week, and were notified yesterday of a voluntary evacuation. Apparently if they stay put and stay inside, they're considered safe, but all the fun resort-y things they normally do are pretty much out. I'm awfully glad we didn't move to LA right now. michaelpop and understandish, stay safe.
